A little tension, please

So I think I may have figured out what was happening last night and tonight with my leg. Last night I think the swelling had gone down enough that the boot had become loose and was actually starting to slip down my leg. Same thing tonight; I had tightened the boot pretty snug when I put it back on after doing the ultrasound thing, but the foot/toe part was a bit too tight so I loosened the whole thing. Later on my foot started hurting again (though partly due to missing drug time). I finally realized that the damn boot was kinda hanging down pretty low, so I re-adjusted and tightened it and things are much better now.

I also went to the orthopedist again today. I ended up having to pay for both this visit and the last one, which set me back $875. I hope a lot of that is this damn boot. Anyway, they took a few more xrays, which look good, and they gave me the bone stimulator. I need to use it in 2 places once a day. He also said that in a few days I should start showering the leg (but not in the boot of course). I asked about the pain in my shoulder and he confirmed it was probably from the crutches and there probably wasn't reason to see a neurologist. Next appointment is in 2 weeks.

I probably slept a good 10 hours today if not more. I'm starting to get tired now, too. Maybe a bit more TV then bed. I hope all the sleep is doing me good.
