Fault Line Flyers (WARNING: their broken java will crash some browsers!) is a soaring club that offers demo rides on the first Saturday of every month. So yesterday, Greg, dopplertx, Judy and I headed out to their field, forked over some cash, and went flying in gliders. It was a blast! Everyone got the chance to fly. I didn't do so well at first, having the same problems as the last time I flew (cranking in the control as if you had to keep it in to mantain attitude, and looking at the instruments way too much). After a while I finally relaxed a bit and started to get the feel of things.

I've pretty much decided that as soon as I've aquired a secure source of income I'll start working on my glider license. Not only will it be fun to do and have, but it should help substantially when I go for my ASEL.

I'm hopefull that next month we can get a big group together next month as well. I know dopplertx and Greg are both in.

After we got back yesterday, Greg and I hung out at
